Colossians 1:20 And through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ's blood on the cross.
◕ Reconcile with God. Your GIFT OF SALVATION is at hand!
Reconcile means: 1. to restore to friendship or harmony, 2. To settle or resolve; (reconcile differences).
A reconciliation must take place between man with God. Christ’s blood has made an atonement for our sins. It is up to man to respond to God and be reconciled. God is already reconciled. Now keep in mind your sins have already been forgiven (God is not counting your sins against you) by Christ’s death and you will find confirmation of this in, 2 Cor 5:18-20 which says;
- All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
